Camels’ ankles are flexible, allowing them to adjust their gait to the changing terrain. This helps them maintain their balance and conserve energy as they walk.

Additionally, camels’ feet have thick calluses that protect them from the hot sand and rough terrain. These calluses also help prevent the feet from getting sore or injured during long treks through the desert.
